Mr. B.Hanumanth Rao who had his science graduation at Osmania University Hyderabad, and basic Metallurgy graduate course in IIM, Kolkata. Mr. Hanumanth Rao has started his career working in Public and Government sectors like IDPL Hyderabad, India, Nuclear Fuel Complex, a unit of Atomic Energy (BARC), Hyderabad, India for 10 years. Mr. Rao worked in the field of Quality Control and Testing & Inspection and handled non – destructive testing methods, destructive – mechanical testing’s, Metallography and Microscopic Examination and NDT–Grade Identification of Uranium filled Zircolloy Fuel elements, weldaments, and components at different stages of Fabrication of fuel bundles for Nuclear Power Reactors.

    His professional career in Explosion Metal Working Systems began in 1978 and served for 35 years in various capacities right from NDT Inspector to Management cadre. Mr. Rao mainly associated with production departments for manufacturing of cladding explosives, testing of explosives, manufacturing of clad products, QC, R&D, explosive compaction, explosive fragmentation, explosive hardening and metallurgical testing lab. Class approval testing program for ship components by Lloyds Register of Shipping (LRS), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) and Indian Register of Shipping (IRS). Mr. Rao had also initiated work connected with the inspection and testing of various clad products in the metal cladding division and prepared detailed quality control procedures for the various stages of the clad products.

    Mr. Rao started his industrial consultancy services on turn – key basis and promoted a few metal cladding industries. In 2008, Mr. Rao started HIENFATECH under his proprietorship, wherein he has mainly concentrated in the development of High – Energy Composite Metal Technology.

    Mr.Rao has more than three decades experiences in the cladding industries and with his technical expertise and marketing backup, Mr. Rao has executed successfully some prestigious order for various DHDS and Sulphur Recovery Projects to Refineries such as Cochin Refiners Ltd. (CRL), Hindustan petroleum (HPCL), Indian oil corp. (IOCL), Bharat petroleum Ltd.(BPCL), Reliance petroleum, Mangalore Refineries (MRCL).Gas Authority of India (GAIL),ABB Turbimen Nurnberg GMBH (Germany) etc., through Hyundai (Korea), KTI (Italy). Petrofac International (Dubai) Technip (India), L & T, EIL, Punj Lloyds, Samsung (Korea) under third party inspection agencies like LRIS, BVIS, EIL, CEIL, IBR, TUV AND DNV.

    In addition to the above, Mr. Rao has also supplied the clad plates to countries like Indonesia, Germany, South Africa, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Singapore, USA, Switzerland,UK and Japan.

    Mr. Rao by taking full advantage of his long experience has succeeded for cladding more than 200 combinations and completed 10000 claddings and 95 developments.

    Mr. Rao has also presented jointly (Dr. M. Chatterjee, Midhani and Mr. B. Hanumanth Rao, Hienra Fabtech ) a technical paper on Development of Titanium – High Strength Steel cladded components by explosion bonding technique in 42nd National Metallurgists Day 58th Annual Technical Meeting which was held on 17th - 19th, November 2004, organized by the Indian Institute of Metals, Trivandrum.
